URGENT CARE VS. EMERGENCY ROOM

WHICH IS THE BEST SOLUTION FOR YOUR SITUATION?

When you feel a medical visit is in order, you have several options as to the path you choose to go for care. Is your situation concerning enough to make the visit to an ER, or can an urgent care handle it in a faster and more cost effective manner? Urgent Care centers, such as DOCS Urgent Care, are equipped and ready to handle most non life-threatening ailments such as; the flu, colds and allergies as well as situations such as; broken bones, lacerations and minor burns.

DOCS Urgent Care is open extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Our Board Certified team of caring, compassionate professionals are here to help in your time of need, all on a walk-in basis.

If your situation is more severe or life-threatening, such as; signs of a heart attack (severe chest pain / pressure), signs of a stroke or severe head injuries you will want to make a visit to the emergency room to ensure you are getting the right care, at the right time. Hospital emergency rooms are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
