DOCS is now offering at home COVID testing for those located in Stamford, Greenwich, Norwalk, Westport, Darien, and Fairfield.

Setting up at-home testing is easy!

A staff member will call you to verify your time, address, type of test, and to collect billing details

A dedicated staff member will meet you at your house for your appointment and administer your test

Test results will be emailed to you via encrypted email and posted to you patient portal*

* If test is completed prior to 4PM then you will have access to results that same day, if collected after 4PM then they will be available by 12PM the following day

Test Options

There are two tests available for at home testing

Sofia 2 Rapid antigen testing

Docs Uses the Quidel Sofia 2 rapid antigen testing. It is a nasal swab (not a deep nasal swab). Results are available within an hour and are then posted to your patient portal.
This test is diagnostic and check to see if you’re currently are infected with the virus.
This test is 96.7% sensitive and is FDA approved through an Emergency Use Authorization. It is not a molecular/RT-PCR test.
If you are getting tested for travel purposes please check to verify if the location you are travelling to will accept this test or requires a PCR/molecular test instead.

Safety Precautions

All testing staff will be wearing sterile personal protective equipment (PPE) when arriving to your home for testing. Staff is all qualified for testing and trained in test collection thoroughly.

Results

All results will be posted to your patient portal. After booking your appointment you will receive an email link in order to access your portal. You can also click here in order to log in.

Results will be sent via secure email as well. If you are tested before 4PM results will be available the same day. If you are tested after 4PM, results will be available by 12PM the following day.
