DOCS Urgent Care of Norwalk has been recognized in the industry for our customized care and treatment options we offer all our valued patients.

Acute Illness or Injuries

Whether students are faced with acute illnesses or injuries of most types, the professionals here at DOCS Urgent Care of Norwalk are equipped to provide all the specialized care and treatment needed. Our student patients are able to take advantage of the many benefits DOCS offers, including our walk-in welcome policy, our extended after hours and our weekend hours as well.

Flu Shots

We also administer flu shots to all our student patients. These flu shots help your body to develop antibodies needed to fight off flu related viruses. Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus are the some of the more common strains of the virus flu shots can ward off.

The team here at DOCS recommends that individuals over the age of six have flu shots. Individuals suffering with chronic illnesses, however, may be at a higher risk for complications from the vaccinations.

Travel Immunizations

When travelling abroad, it is wise to have disease preventing travel immunization shots. Here at DOCS Urgent Care of Norwalk we administer these shots to our patients in advance of their travels.

We administer STD testing that typically includes taking urine or blood samples, swabs (mouth, genitals, sores, discharge), and physical exams. Testing is completed quickly and confidentially, unless we find it necessary to send you to another physician for further evaluation. Students do not have to use our walk-in services but rather can schedule a confidential appointment in advance of they prefer.

STD Testing is available for:
