Adults and children over the age of 5 can receive this treatment which is also very cost-effective.

Build-Up Phase
During the build-up phase of your treatment our allergy doctors will administer injections with increasing amounts of the allergens approximately 3-4 times per week. The duration of your build-up phase will depend on how often you receive injections and how well you tolerate them. This phase is scheduled to extend over 8 months.
Maintenance Phase
Following the build-up phase and the determination of your effective dose, you will enter the maintenance phase of treatment. Treatments during the maintenance phase take place 2 times per week and have a longer stretch of time, usually 3 days, between each treatment. During this maintenance phase, you may very well notice a decrease in symptoms, as a result of your allergy shots. If this is the case, maintenance treatment will be continued for 4 months.
