Allergy

An exaggerated reaction (as sneezing, difficult breathing, itching, or skin rashes) to substances, situations, or physical states that are without comparable effect on the average individual. Allergy symptoms can be more than bothersome or irritating. They can interfere with your day-to-day activities and sleep. Allergies can result in loss of productivity, missed work or school, and overall poor quality of life. Seeking the help of an allergist is the key to treating your allergies.

Immunotherapy

Also called desensitization or hypo-sensitization, is a form of treatment wherein extracts of allergens (pollens, dust, molds, etc.) are introduced into the body to induce an immunologic response, resulting in the eventual reduction or elimination of the allergic reaction. Our allergists and immunologists can come up with a plan.
