Allergy Shots

Build-Up Phase

Maintenance Phase

Your immunologist must determine what your effective dose level is before you can enter the maintenance phase of treatment. Once these levels are formulated, your treatment schedule will be adjusted to twice per week, with a 3-day break in between each treatment. During the maintenance phase, many patients will notice minimized symptoms. At the completion of this phase, typically 4 months, we will administer an annual test to determine if you require additional injections. If you choose to change or terminate your treatment, you must discuss your concerns with your immunologist.
