Build-Up Phase

Maintenance Phase

The new schedule is usually 2 times per week with a three-day break in between. Your personal allergist or immunologist will determine the appropriate treatment range for you.

During the maintenance phase you are apt to witness a decrease in your symptoms. If allergy shots prove to be an effective treatment for you, the maintenance phase will be continued for about 4 months. At the end of that 4-month period, we will perform a test to determine if you require additional injections moving forward. These tests are performed annually. If you choose to change treatment or terminate your allergy shots, you must consult with your allergist or immunologist first.
