Yes, all our locations provide COVID testing in CT. We have rapid antigen testing, rapid PCR, and traditional PCR testing options available. Rapid PCR tests are given based on availability. If none are available on-site, PCR tests will be sent to a third-party lab.

No, COVID-19 testing is by appointment only but same-day appointments may be available. You may still walk in for any other urgent care needs.

PCR tests collected and run on-site will be reported on the same day.
PCR tests collected on-site but sent out to a third-party lab will have results in 36-72 hours.
Yes, we can draw blood and send out to a third-party lab or we can provide a requisition for you to be seen at a lab for your blood draw.
You will need to contact your specific insurance carrier to see if they cover testing. Most do not cover surveillance/travel testing and only cover testing for those who have been exposed to the coronavirus.
Because of this, DOCS will need to collect payment for any required surveillance/travel testing. You can then submit the itemized bill directly to your insurance carrier to see if they will reimburse your expenses.

Yes, you can be tested as many times as needed after new exposures, for travel, or for surveillance testing.
Currently, insurance does not limit the number of times you can be tested. However, repeated testing may depend on your specific insurance policy details.
