The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to the symptoms of the flu, common colds, and pneumonia. This includes fever, cough, congestion, and shortness of breath. Those who have been in contact with someone who has a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19 are at higher risk of being diagnosed with COVID-19.
If you are experiencing severe symptoms such as severe shortness of breath, it is recommended that you seek local emergency care or dial 911. We suggest, if possible, to call your local ER to inform them of your arrival beforehand.
Who Should Get Tested?
At least 80% of those infected with COVID-19 don’t need medical treatment. Only those with severe symptoms including shortness of breath and difficulty breathing should report to the Emergency Department. All others should self-isolate at home.
If you have the symptoms of COVID-19, you can schedule an appointment at our Bethel office for testing.
