Our Healthcare Services for Students

At DOCS Urgent Care of Bethel, we strive to meet all of your urgent and student health care needs. Offering top-care to our patients is one of the most vital parts of what we offer our community.

Acute Illness or Injuries

Take advantage of our walk-ins welcome policy, extended after hours, and open weekends! Docs Urgent Care can be the reliable source you need to combat any unexpected injuries and acute illnesses when student health centers fail to be there.

Flu Shots

Protect yourself during flu season from the highly contagious viral infection known as influenza. By administering the flu vaccine, your body will develop antibodies within two weeks to fight off the infection in the case that contact is made with the virus. Seasonal vaccinations generally protect against the following common strains: Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus.

Vaccinations are highly recommended for everyone, even the healthiest of people. Individuals suffering from chronic illnesses are at a higher risk of complications, but anybody over the age of 6 can receive the seasonal vaccination.

Travel Immunizations

Prepare yourself for upcoming international travel plans with disease-preventing travel immunizations. Don’t let harmful bacteria and viruses ruin your abroad or travel experiences.

Common Travel Vaccinations Include
  • Yellow Fever
  • Meningitis (Meningococcal)
  • HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
  • Japanese Encephalitis
  • Typhoid
  • Rabies
  • Polio
  • Hepatitis A (HEP A)
  • Hepatitis B (HEP B)
  • Hepatitis B Combination

STD Testing

If you are currently sexually active, have multiple sexual partners, or have recently had unprotected text and are experiencing any infections or symptoms, Docs Urgent Care can help you with STD testing and treatments. Testing is completed quickly and confidently in our Bethel office, unless otherwise sent for further evaluation. The types of test include urine or blood sample, swabs (mouth, genitals, sores, discharge), and physical exams. We welcome walk in patients or by appointment.

STD Testing is available for:

  • HIV/AIDS
  • Chlamydia
  • Syphilis
  • Gonorrhea
  • Hepatitis C
  • HPV
