At DOCS we strive to meet the individual needs of all our East Haven student patients and are steadfast in providing not only affordable services, but efficient and effective care and treatment options as well.
Acute Illness or Injuries
If you find yourself faced with an acute illness or injury, then look no further than the dedicated team of physicians here at DOCS Urgent Care of East Haven. Students can take advantage of our walk-in welcome policy, as well as our extended after hours and weekend hours. We strive to be your friendly and reliable medical source for all your acute illnesses and injuries, especially when other student health centers fail to meet those needs.
Flu Shots
We also administer flu vaccinations during the flu season to help students combat the many contagious viral infections that can be spread. Flu shots provide your body with the ability to develop antibodies in two weeks’ time that are necessary to fight off infections linked to the virus. Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus are some of the more common strains of the virus that seasonal flu vaccinations can combat.
Our medical professionals highly recommend that all our patients over the age of six have seasonal vaccinations but want to alert those suffering with chronic illnesses to the fact that they may be at a higher risk for complications from the vaccinations.
Travel Immunizations
When traveling abroad, our dedicated team of physicians here at DOCS Urgent Care of East Haven are on hand to administer disease-preventing travel immunizations as needed. You don’t want your travels to be spoiled by contracting harmful bacteria and viruses, so be sure to have your travel immunizations before you board that plane.

Whether you have multiple sexual partners, are currently sexually active, or had unprotected sex and are experiencing any infections or symptoms, you have come to the right place. All testing we perform is quick and confidential, unless we find it necessary to send you for further evaluation elsewhere.

Sports & School Physicals
School and sports physicals are also provided by the dedicated team here at DOCS Urgent Care of East Haven. Our physicians provide examinations and tests that include checking your vitals, hearing and vision testing, and testing for other specific sports or activities. After discussing your family history with the doctor, we will determine if any other additional tests are needed.
