These industries are critical, which is why it is imperative to make sure their employees are not under the influence, and to make sure that job tasks can be completed safely.

When Does Drug Testing Usually Take Place?

Each drug screening will vary in length depending on the employer and the regulations within the state of Connecticut. Some typical situations can include:
  • Pre-employment
  • After a workers’ compensation claim
  • After an accident
  • Reasonable suspicion

What Do I Need to Bring to a Drug Test?

When arriving to a drug test, you may be required to bring the following items with you:
  • A valid ID picture which can include a passport, driver’s license or military ID
  • Any authorization forms or paperwork from your employer

What Happens During a Drug Test?

During a drug screening, patients will undergo blood testing, urinalysis, hair testing, and mouth swabs. DOCS Urgent Care can provide many different tests for various employers, depending on how soon results are needed.
