Student patients can always take advantage of the many benefits we offer which include our walk-in welcome policy, our extended after hours and our weekend hours as well.
DOCS also provides student patients with flu vaccinations. Flu shots help your body to develop antibodies needed to fight off flu related viruses. Some of the more common strains of the virus that flu shots can ward off include Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus.
At DOCS, our team of doctors recommend that any individual over the age of six have a flu shot. They do warn, however, that individuals suffering with chronic illnesses may be at a higher risk for complications from the vaccinations.
If you plan on traveling abroad, students should consider having disease preventing travel immunization shots. Here at DOCS Urgent Care of Orange we can administer these shots well in advance of your travels.
