Acute Illness or Injuries
Further to the medical services we offer our student patients, here at the clinic we also offer medical care and treatment for acute illnesses or injuries. DOCS Urgent Care of Stratford allows our student patients to enjoy a variety of benefits here at our clinic that include a friendly walk-in welcome policy, extended after hours and weekend hours as well.
Our team of physicians also administer flu vaccinations to student patients. Flu season can be a bit a risk to nearly everyone which is why it is so important to get your flu shot. Flu vaccinations help provide your body with the various antibodies needed to fight off the flu. Some of the common strains of the virus that flu vaccinations can fight and ward off include Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus.
We highly recommend that anybody over the age of 6 have a flu shot. However, individuals suffering with chronic illnesses may find themselves faced with a higher risk for complications from the vaccinations.
If you are a student planning to travel abroad, be sure to head on in to DOCS Urgent Care of Stratford where our team of doctors can administer disease preventing travel immunization shots in advance of your travels.
