Acute Illness or Injuries

Flu Shots
DOCS Urgent Care is on hand to provide flu shots to patients in our efforts to avoid the spread of influenza, a highly contagious viral infection. When you elect to have a flu shot, your body begins to develop necessary antibodies needed to fight off the flu infection should you come in contact with it. Seasonal vaccinations we administer will generally protect against common strains such as Influenza a (H1N1) virus, Influenza A (H3H2) virus, and Influenza B virus. We highly recommend that all of our patients over the age of 6 receive seasonal vaccinations.
