Self-employed and commercial drivers are welcome to get their DOT Physicals at our Connecticut locations. You walk in or make an appointment ahead of time. Our highly-trained, NRCME-certified professionals deliver the best quality of care at an affordable price. We also accept most health insurances.

Our services can save you from a costly trip to the emergency room for non-emergency injuries. We provide injured employees with excellent care and treatment without the headache of the hospital. We offer pre-employment exams, executive physicals, annual exams, D.O.T. and non-D.O.T. drug and alcohol testing, immunizations, and onsite laboratory, X-ray, EKG, and spirometry.

DOCS Occupational Health Program offers workplace solutions to keep your employees happy, healthy, and productive.
DOCS provides telemedicine as a value-added benefit at no additional cost to employees of companies contracted with DOCS Urgent Care. Your employees will be able to address their medical concerns with same day visits and at their time convenience. Visits can be virtual or as a hybrid model where you can utilize the convenience of an online and in-person visit. All employees will be added to the company portal in advance for easy online appointments and registration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a membership fee or charge to the employer/employees to use telehealth?
No. DOCS televisit services are a no cost, value added benefit for employers and employees.
Does DOCS Urgent Care take insurance to cover the cost of the visit and services?
Each DOCS location throughout Connecticut accepts most insurance plans. In order to be accepted, all you have to do is provide your insurance card and driver’s license (or an alternate form of identification) at the time of your visit. If you have questions about a specific plan, give us a call.
What if an employee doesn’t have insurance?
You may pay in cash
Is there a Co-pay?
Depending on your insurance plan you may have a copay that you can pay for online or in-person at the time of your visit.
Where will my test results/visit summary be located?
Results will be posted to your patient portal online which you will receive access to after your visit.
Will an employee’s medical records be kept private from the employer?
DOCS Urgent Care takes the privacy of their patients seriously and does not share any medical information with an employer unless written prior authorization is given for a specific service.
Can an employee’s family use this service?
Yes. Employees can have family members utilize DOCS telemedicine by scheduling an appointment online or at one of our Urgent Care locations.
Does DOCS Urgent Care offer any additional medical Services?

We only hire board-certified physicians and professionally trained health care providers at our Connecticut DOCS Urgent Care locations. Our main goal is to provide patient friendly, quality care and low wait times. We treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, blood work and testing.
Chronic Care
DOCs Medical Group offers care management and care coordination services to patients with complex/chronic diseases. Our highly skilled team of PCPs and specialists can care for you within our organization. That means, not having to transfer out of DOCs to see a specialist, worrying your PCP got your records or having to repeat yourself to multiple doctors.

Injuries and illnesses should never leave you suffering physically or financially. We act as any emergency room would, except we only treat non-life threatening conditions.
